동물권행동 카라가 위기에 처한 아시아의 동물들을 돕고,
소규모 단체들을 지원하는 모금활동의 일환으로 진행될 글로벌 NFT 프로젝트에 참여합니다

이번 NFT 프로젝트는 <Real Animals> 라는 이름으로 카라를 비롯, 아시아의 각국을 대표하는 총 6개의 동물보호단체가 참여하게 되었습니다.
본 프로젝트는 3월부터 본격적으로 시작될 예정이며, 오늘 공식 웹사이트가 오픈되었습니다. 카라에서 구조한 한국의 ‘식용이 될뻔한’ 개들의 스토리가 소개될 예정이며 이들의 캐릭터 NFT를 구입하여 소장하심으로써 아시아 동물권 단체들을 지원하고 이를 통해 많은 동물들을 도우실 수 있습니다.

동물권행동 카라는 이번 프로젝트를 통해 ‘개식용’ 문제가 한국만의 특수한 이슈가 아닌 ‘동물과의 공존’, ‘생명권’에 대한 보편적 가치임을 더 많은 세계 시민들에게 알릴 것입니다.

Korea Animal Rights Advocates, KARA will be involved in a global NFT project to help endangered animals in Asia and support local organizations.
Along with KARA, a total of six animal rights groups representing their respective countries will be participating in the ‘Real Animals’ NFT project.
The project will begin in earnest this March, with the official website going live today. KARA’s rescue stories of dogs ‘almost slaughtered for meat’ will be posted and by purchasing and owning the rescues NFT characters, you can support animal rights groups and help many animals in need.

Through this project, Korea Animal Rights Advocates, KARA hopes to inform more people around the world that the issue of ‘dog meat’ consumption is not unique to Korea, but is affiliated with universal values of ‘coexistence with animals’ and the ‘right to life’.
